09.04.2008 - GoodyBurrett LLP and the 3 Peaks Challenge in Aid of the Anthony Nolan Trust

GoodyBurrett have two teams of (fool) hardy individuals who are taking part in the 3 Peaks Challenge in aid of The Anthony Nolan Trust (Charity Regn. No. 803716) on 16-17 August 2008. Our teams will be climbing Ben Nevis in Scotland, Scafell Pike in the Lake District and Snowdon in Wales . a total of some 26 miles within 24 hours!

The challenge starts in Scotland in the early afternoon of Saturday 16th August. Ben Nevis will take approximately 5 hours to climb. The teams will then be driven to Scafell Pike and climb it in the evening (in the dark!) taking approximately 4.5 hours and aim to finish around dawn.

They then have a chance to nap whilst being driven to Wales to climb Snowdon, which should take around 4 hours, finishing the challenge on Sunday afternoon. Our (tired and likely to be sore!) teams are then treated to lunch and a presentation ceremony.

We hope that you and many of our clients will be good enough to sponsor/donate monies to our teams, who are hoping to raise over £8,000.00 in aid of The Anthony Nolan Trust. Any amount you would care to give would be gratefully received by us but especially by The Anthony Nolan Trust in order for them to carry on their work in providing donors for patients requiring bone marrow transplants.

If you wish to donate by cheque, then please make your cheque payable to The Anthony Nolan Trust and we will then pass it directly on to them. Alternatively, if you wish to donate online, please do so via our secure website: http/www.justgiving.com/goodyburrettllp.
