blue bullet  Personal Injury

Personal injury claims have suffered a bad press in recent years with allegations from critics that the UK has become a “compensation culture”. The reality is that people are simply more aware of their rights. If you succeed with a personal injury claim, you will be awarded compensation. This is an attempt to put you in the position you would have been in had you not suffered the injuries. Whilst compensation can not change your injuries, it can make life easier and enable you to obtain any necessary treatment etc. Further, personal injury claims encourage changes in safety procedures, so that fewer accidents happen in the future.

As a firm, we are dedicated to providing a quality service to our clients and this includes personal injury claims. If you have been injured in an accident in the last 3 years*, you may be entitled to receive compensation. If, for example, you have been in a road traffic accident, which was not your fault, and as a result you have suffered injuries, you may be able to claim damages from the person who caused the accident.

Similarly, if you have been injured whilst at work, your employer may be liable to you for compensation if the accident was a result of something they did, or did not, do.

Even if you have simply slipped or tripped in the Street and suffered injuries, if it can be proved that you slipped or tripped because of somebody's negligence, you may be entitled to damages.

We can offer advice as to whether you have a claim, and if you do,the likely level of compensation you might recover. When we have discussed your case in full, we will discuss the appropriate funding for you. This may be on a "no win no fee" basis so that if you are not successful, you will not have to pay anything towards our costs. Alternatively, we can offer a Discounted Fee Agreement so that if you are unsuccessful, you will be charged at a reduced rate.

We are members of the association for Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL); an organisation dedicated to improving the service provided to victims of accidents. You can, therefore, be certain that you will receive a professional service.
