Catherine Ashton

Catherine has specialised in family law since she qualified in 2004. She is a Specialist Accredited Member of Resolution, an association of family lawyers who adhere to a Code of Practice which ensures that family disputes are resolved in a constructive and non-confrontational way. Catherine is also a member of the Law Society Family Law Advanced Accreditation Scheme. Her specialisms are financial matters, domestic abuse and cohabitation disputes.

Catherine also has considerable experience in other areas of family law including divorce and children disputes. She understands how important it is to listen to her clients and help them reach a resolution which is in their interests both now and in the future.

Catherine is also a Family Mediator. This enables her to assist couples in resolving disputes in an alternative forum to using the Court process.
In addition to family work, Catherine also deals with personal injury claims and has wide experience in cases involving road traffic accidents, work related accidents, trips/slips and cases involving injuries caused by a criminal assault.
